End of Summer...Back to Beauty!

Summer has been pretty busy at Atelier Emmanuel and you may already have noticed some changes. First of all, we hope you enjoy our brand new website. You can now book appointments online and get a prompt response. Let us know what you think!

Anastasia, a hairstylist with 15 years experience in New York and Boston, joined our team at the beginning of July. We are pleased to have someone of her caliber join us! A final addition to our team is our new receptionist, Candice. You will learn more about her in upcoming weeks.
If you've never dared go short, check out the slideshow on the left and see how Charles and Emmanuel can make it work. This selection of pictures, by the way, comes from our June photoshoot at the "Only in San Francisco" Gregangelo Museum.
Heading into Fall, leaving Summer behind, you will want to start helping your hair recover from the wear and tear of sun, heat, and bleach (we do hope you spent some time by a pool!). Atelier Emmanuel has added another spa treatment for your head, the Keratin Smoothing Treatment by Coppola. Keratin Smoothing Treatment by Coppola

By infusing a special blend of keratin into damaged hair cuticles, this treatment eliminates up to 95% of frizz and curl from the hair.
The result is improved hair quality and manageability.

The infusion of keratin makes the hair:
- Soft and silky

Coming from the East Coast with 15 years in the industry in both Boston and New York, Anastasia has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients. She is strongly familiar with the gamut of hairstyling and coloring needs. She is comfortable working with vintage styles and classic looks as well as diving into the latest trends. Her bridal work has already pleased clients.
Anastasia draws from influences beyond those of contemporary fashion, tapping into other medias.

Escape into the fantastic at Gregangelo Museum

On June 23rd, we had an exciting photoshoot, featuring the work of Charles and Emmanuel. Our models were: Marjorie, a model from Look Model Agency and Julie, one of Charles' clients. The focus was on womens' short hair styles. The session was photographed by our longtime collaborator Tara Arrowood of Arrowood Photography.

The photoshoot took place at the Gregangelo Museum (see picture), a location full of Magic. Like past reviews of the museum have said, walking through the front door was a little like stepping through Alice's looking glass. Gregangelo Herrera, founder of Gregangelo Circus and the arts & entertainment troupe Velocity, has turned what was a standard house into a nonstop treat for the senses. No surface has been untouched by his whimsical flight through realms of the imagination. We were lucky to shoot in both the Solstice and Galaxy rooms.
