Aromatherapy Promotion

To liven up the winter months, Atelier Emmanuel is introducing Aromatherapy with our massages.

The importance of scalp care

“Beautiful hair comes from healthy scalp…” is the maxim on which Rene Furterer has founded their hair services and products lines for over 50 years. As a longtime veteran of the Rene Furterer Institute in Paris, I've seen over and over how true that maxim is! There are many different scalp and hair treatment services offered by Rene Furterer. They can take as little as 15 minutes or last as long as 60 luxurious minutes.

To give you sense of what a general session looks like, I've laid out the basic steps below:
1. First, the treatment expert analyzes the scalp and makes a diagnosis to decide on an appropriate treatment.
2. The scalp is prepared for all subsequent treatments with COMPLEXE 5. Complexe 5 contains regenerative plant extracts and stimulating essential oils.
3. The hair is washed with one of a range of specialized treatment shampoos.
4. The hair is treated with an appropriate Rene Furterer care product.
Specialized brushing techniques and scalp massage are integrated throughout the session. These are key to the success of spa hair care protocols. And, of course, they're also quite relaxing!

Who is Who?

You may have noticed a few changes in our staff. Here is a little update about who is in and who is out.
Audrey is no longer manning the front desk, though you'll still find a French accent when you call. George and Johnny are also no longer with us, having left for other adventures in the Marina.
Britney arrived in July to assist our busy stylists in the salon and is currently training with Emmanuel to become a junior stylist. Massage connoisseurs already know Felix… and some have met Grace and Nicole who joined during the summer…soon you'll meet Rachel. Rachel recently trained with us. We all loved our work so she'll be joining us as an ongoing member of the staff.
My name is Pauline, I am French and just joined the team as the new manager. I split my time between managing administrative tasks, welcoming clients at the front desk, and developing marketing and communications strategies. I am very excited about the new projects we are working on, and look forward to meeting you at 166 Geary Street.
