Happy Holidays and Happy new year

The ice skating rink and Christmas tree are set up on Union Square; holiday season songs are playing in every store, and downtown is busy with shoppers... It's definitely that time of year! We've decorated the salon this year, but we are judiciously restrained in the playing of holiday music. Our sense is to be oasis of calm during the holidays! If you need an extra boost in that direction, we suggest booking your appointments on Thursdays, when we'll be having our Wine Hours from December 15th until Januray 15th.

On top of hairstyling tools like the GHD stylers which can make easy gifts for your friends and family, we are also happy to mail or email gift certificates to you or your friends. Britney, our former assistant, has graduated to Junior Stylist. She is now accepting clients and can offer affordable haircuts.
Replacing her as hairstyling assistant is Paul. It's high time for us to be introducing Paul, since he joined us in September!
We hope that 2009 ends beautifully for you, and that 2010 starts amazingly.

From December 15th to Januray 15th, Atelier Emmanuel will be offering a complimentary glass of wine to clients who come for services during Wine Hour.

Discover Pride Mountain Vineyards in Napa Valley

Pride Mountain Vineyards, better known as Summit Ranch to the locals, is bisected by the Napa/Sonoma county line. The Prides constructed their own facility which has been fully operational since 1997. The first record of vineyards on these lands, however, dates all the way back to 1869.

The Pride vineyards total 83 acres, draped across the crest of the Mayacamas Mountains, about 2000 feet above the Napa Valley floor, offering very optimal conditions for wine production. Native of Hawai'i, Paul has been bringing his positive energy and happy mood to our salon since September. Paul received his education from The San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology and wishes to cultivate and enhance his cutting and styling abilities with us. As a full time part of our team, he gets to shadow some of the best hairstylists in the city. He also trains one on one with Emmanuel every tuesday from 4:30 pm.
